Christian Education for Adults
Bible Study
Wednesday’s Word: meets for lunch at noon in Memorial Hall. Beginning at
Genesis and going straight through to Revelation, we study a few chapters a
week and engage in lively discussions about how God is revealed to those who
wrote the passages, and to us today. Join any time you can – it’s very casual
and friendly! Class is moving through the
prophets. All are welcome!
“REEL” People
Meets monthly at members’ homes to discuss a that lends itself to reflection and
discussion from a faith perspective. The movies are
selected by the group, and everyone has a month to see the film. The group reconvenes and discussion is facilitated by the host or hostess. This is a great way
to get to know folks and share your perspectives on how faith translates to the big screen. Contact Pastor Mark for details.
Search & Discovery
Ever wonder what “God is Still Speaking” really means? Come explore this intriguing motto of The United Church of Christ and much more in our Search and Discovery class. These classes, which meet approximately five times per year, are designed to help you learn more about The UCC and St. Paul Church. Throughout your discovery, you might find that you would like to join the community of the “still-speaking” God that worships at St. Paul.
A new class is now forming! To join a class, contact Pastor Jeanne.
